Hey! My name is Mehedi Ahmed! I’ve been a Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality for about 4 years now. I first discovered the world of XR development in 2014 during my sophomore year at college. I knew that I fell in love with XR development the first time I finally managed to get my borrowed Oculus DK2 to run a simple demo in Unity. It quickly became apparent to me that developing for this new medium is like being an explorer, with discovery just around the corner. Unlike other mediums that could rely on an extensive history of best practices, many of the rules of XR development have yet to be codified and/or discovered. XR development combines all of my favorite things together, it combines my love of technology and programming and it combines my love for interactive art and design.
